Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I have wanted to be a teacher and help children learn since I was in middle school. I did appreciate my teacher's and I wanted to be just like them. I currently am a volunteer tutor at an elementary school. I help a 6th grader with his language art skills. Giving back what I learned in school to the children who are willing to learn, makes me happy and I feel like I have accomplished something.
Why should a student pick you?
- I am passionate about helping children learn. I will have my associates degree in February and I will continue on to get my bachelor degree in elementary education soon. I am friendly and outgoing and I always have a smile on my face. I'm always positive and I don't like to hurt anyone's feelings.
Personal Statement:
- Children are wonderful to be around and helping them learn makes me smile and feel good about myself and what I am doing.
