When our tutors were asked the following questions, this is how they responded:
- Hobbies:
- martial arts, reading, video games, anything outdoors
Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I've tutored on and off for years and have always enjoyed helping kids. Also, I have a little boy of my own now and tutoring allows me to still work while spending as much time with him as possible.
Why should a student pick you?
- I have a number of years of experience both as a teacher and as a tutor and have had many successes working with students of all different ages and ability levels. I understand that not all people learn things the same way and I try to adapt myself and how I present materials to each individual student.
Personal Statement:
- I will do my best to help anyone I work with to achieve what they are trying to. I believe that anyone can accomplish great things if motivated and given the chance.
Any Last Words?
- There are so many quotes that I really appreciate it's hard to pick just one...
Albert Einstein once said - Imagination is more important than knowledge.
